Overview

MockWith ("we", "us") operates mockwith.com and related practice tools, including Mock With AI — our AI-driven mock interviewer with voice, optional camera, and a written debrief. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your data.

What we collect

Account information (name, email from Google sign-in), session metadata (duration, timestamps), transcripts you create, optional interview context you paste (job descriptions, resumes), your spoken answers (transcribed to text), billing records from Stripe or Razorpay, and technical logs (IP address, browser type) for security and abuse prevention.

Mock With AI — voice & camera

During an AI mock, your microphone audio is transcribed to text (in your browser where possible, otherwise via a speech-to-text provider) so the interviewer can respond; the resulting text becomes part of your session transcript. The interviewer's questions are synthesized to speech via Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. Camera is always optional and off by default — if you enable it, individual frames may be analyzed in real time for engagement cues (e.g. posture, eye contact) to inform your feedback. Webcam frames are processed transiently and are not stored or used to identify you; turning the camera off ends all visual processing.

How we use data

To run practice sessions, power the AI interviewer, generate debrief reports, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your webcam imagery for advertising or profiling.

Session content

Transcripts and context you provide are stored so you can review sessions, share viewer links, and receive debriefs. Trash retention depends on your plan. You may delete sessions from your history where the product allows.

Third parties

We use infrastructure and payment providers (e.g. Vercel, Google OAuth, Stripe, Razorpay) and AI/speech providers — including Google Cloud (Gemini, Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text, and Vision for optional webcam cues) — to deliver transcription, the AI interviewer, voice, and Assist features. Those providers process data under their own terms.

Retention & security

We retain account and billing data as long as your account is active and as required for legal obligations. We use industry-standard access controls; no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data via the Contact form. You may cancel subscriptions from Settings; cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically delete past transcripts.
